December has seen the partial completion of the roof tiling to block 80 which had previously been delayed due to the availability of roof tiles. With the roof tiling nearing completion attention can now be turned to the completion of the external landscaping and the formation of the driveway to the block, which has been impossible until now due to the scaffold. The next few weeks will also see the removal of the site cabins. Internally, the ground floor units in the block have now been plastered and partially painted. These units have also had all floors tiled (and covered for protection), and had their heating and hot water systems installed. The ground floor units are next due to having their sanitaryware and kitchens installed along with the remaining door linings and internal doors prior to the first round of 3 snagging visits. The first-floor units have been plastered and are currently drying sufficiently for the painters to begin in these units. All floor tiling has been completed in these units and also covered to protect them from damage. The second-floor is currently being plastered following the completion of the first fix works in these plots. The final area to be completed will be the communal spaces and corridors. These areas are currently being held at first fix stage to ensure that no damage is caused to finished works while they remain heavily trafficked.

The majority of the units are still on target for completion at the end of January, with the scheduling of kitchens, unfortunately, delaying completion of plots 8 and 9 until the 1st/2nd week in February. All efforts are however being made to expedite their delivery to maintain dates.
