Phase 1
Construction is complete with all outstanding snagging works to this block completed. All apartments are now signed off and ready for occupation.
Phase 2:
Block 78 is now mostly complete with only finishing trades left to complete. All kitchens and bathrooms are installed, and all wall and floor tiling has also been completed, except for the penthouses. The contractor is now concentrating on their own internal snagging process, and final finishing touches, including ironmongery and top coat decoration. The scaffold has now been stripped and works are well underway to for the front staircase and retaining walls between the two blocks. Works to shape the levels around the block will now begin. The first round of snagging by Shape will take place W/C 11th September. with the external works being the last to be finished. Block 80 has now been first fixed in its entirety, including all joinery, electrical and plumbing works. The main focus on block 80 is now to ensure that it is water tight before the bad weather arrives, so over the next two to three weeks progress will focus on the completion of the roof covering and the installation of the windows and doors. Once these have been completed the contractor can then ensure that progress on the internals can resume.
